We formulated this skin mosquito repellant for a hiking trip in the dense forest of Costa Rica. "The idea here was to make an effective product that's safe for the ocean's wildlife, coral reefs and the skin's natural biome.
Most natural skin mosquito repellant formulas separate and are not as effective when the essential oils are floating on top. They can sometimes have high amounts of alcohol or essential oils that are irritating to skin and can disturb the skin's biome.
This uniquely formulated mosquito repellent contains an all natural enzyme emulsifier to evenly distribute its insect repellent ingredients and enhance its efficacy. With 3% essential oils of Citronella, Geranium, Tea Tree and Lemongrass; our formula is a long lasting + chemical free solution for a mosquito repellant that is gentle on the skin.
Citronella oil has been registered with the EPA as a plant base, non-toxic bio-chemical gnat and mosquito repellant for the body and hair since 1948.
Vegetable glycerin grounds your insect repelling essential oils to stop them from evaporating and continually attract moisture from the atmosphere to your skin. When the skin is hydrated the ingredients are more active.

Directions: Apply directly onto the skin generously about once every 2 - 4 hours, after your swim and as often as needed. We've found it especially helpful to spray it in your hair and around your surrounding areas. Avoid spaying in or around your eyes.
