Buzz Kill is a DEET-free mosquito and tick repellent built on a hydrosol base, not alcohol. Why Buzz Kill Works Differently

Buzz Kill was created out of necessity. Hiking through the dense jungles of Costa Rica, we needed protection from mosquitoes — but we refused to coat our skin in DEET and synthetic chemicals. So we built our own formula.
Using witch hazel hydrosol as the base (not alcohol, which dries skin and evaporates fast), we layered in essential oils with proven repellent properties: citronella, lemongrass, peppermint, and geranium rose.
