A Study in Atmosphere

Urban Alchemy was created for the space between movement and stillness.

City life carries bright lights, noise, schedules, ambition ect... But the spaces we return to at the end of the day should feel deliberate. It should hold us like a prayer.

This candle was built with that in mind.

Hand-poured in St. Louis, the Urban Alchemy Candle is made from a plant-based blend of American soy, coconut and beeswax. Beeswax has long been used in spaces of ceremony and reflection, valued for its density and the steadiness of its flame. Even in careful proportion, it adds weight and structure to our proprietary blend. You'll notice it the moment you lift the vessel.

With over 60+ hours of life, the burn extends beyond a typical 3 wick candle. The beeswax helps the scent mature and slowly unfold over weeks 

Fragrance was approached with the same restraint. Developed in collaboration with a small niche fragrance house in France, the scent moves gradually through soft musk, green, and citrus notes. It develops ....evolve and settles into a room.

The matte green vessel was chosen with permanence in mind. Designed to live on display, it becomes part of the room rather than something discarded once the wax is gone.

Along the side of the box, a dandelion appears — a quiet toetum of resilience. It speaks to regrowth and return, to the way something can endure disruption and still root itself again.
