The practice of yoni steaming has existed for centuries, and has been passed down through generations of women who have found it to be an effective support for their cycles and their well being.

Gently simmer Sitting Pretty in 2 cups of water for 10 minutes in a covered pot.
While your herbs simmer, set up your yoni steaming seat or sitz bath. This is a good time to journal, meditate or listen to soft music + light your candles,
After 5 minutes of simmering have passed, turn off the heat and allow the water to cool for 10 minutes. Carefully pour into your yoni seat or sitz bath.
Disrobe from the waist down. Sit comfortably above the bath with your yoni exposed to the steam. Cover yourself with a towel to keep yourself warm and to keep the steam contained inside. The steam should feel warm but, please move away from the steam if at any time it feels too hot!
After about 30 minutes, slowly stand, dry off and get dressed in warm, comfortable clothing. You’ll want to stay warm for as long as possible after your steaming session.
Lay down in a warm bed for at least an hour, or preferably for the entire night. You’ll wake up refreshed + reconnect. Repeat 2 - 3 times monthly, before or after your menstrual cycle.
